The high level of protection against water is due to the Gore-Tex® Extended Comfort membrane used in these boots. The breathable (vapour-permeable) membrane is also responsible for wicking away moisture from the inside of the boots. In situations of intense activity, it will not allow excess moisture to accumulate on the skin. As a result, it ensures optimum thermal comfort.
The front part of the shoes is protected by a special rubber boot. Its purpose is to protect the toes from impact with the elements of the terrain and from accidental wetting on contact with moisture.
An essential element of the shoes is the upper made using seamless technology with an elastic collar and tongue that comfortably wraps the ankle and instep for comfort and protection.
The Vibram® Crodanera sole used on this model guarantees high grip and stability on uneven ground. Its medium hardness will be suitable for most hikes in both mountain and forest terrain. The EVA foam in the sole, on the other hand, effectively absorbs and dampens the unevenness of the terrain we tread on.
